FAQ's

Where do you play?

Anyplace, anytime. If there is a gathering of folks looking for a good time, we're in! Weddings, Parties, Staff parties, Anniversaries, Birthdays, corporate events, festivals, Bars, Pubs, private house parties, campfires...you name it.

What are my options?

3 different varieties (for those who like variety..).

  1. Acoustic
  2. Dani Star - Paul DiSalle Duo
  3. 3 piece band

How long do you play for?

There are no rules!!! We can play for hours or we can play one song. Depends on what you're looking for :

  1. The 4 hour Gig: 3 (45) minute sets with 30 minute breaks in between.
  2. The Concert: one long 2 hour show.
  3. The stretch: 30 minutes ON, 30 minutes OFF for as many hours as you need.
  4. Special Orders: just one hour (ex:cocktail hour), or just one song for a special occasion.

What do I need to supply?

NOTHING except for hydro and space to play. This could vary depending on whether it's indoor or outdoor, but ALL equipment rentals are included in the costs.

What am I really purchasing?

You are buying a service that includes equipment rentals, stage hands, set up, tear down, the live show and a chance to meet and greet with the musicians.

What about the venue?

When the Gig is confirmed, we'll get in touch with the venue to make sure everything is in place for the setup.

What about setup, soundcheck and tear down?

In most cases setup and soundcheck will happen before the people arrive and tear down will begin immediately after the last song.

How do we pay for this?

For shows booked less than 2 months in advance AND not exceeding 500$, payments can be made in cash or cheque on the night of the show.

For shows booked more than 2 months in advance AND exceeding 500$, a written agreement  is required with a deposit of 50% down. (see next section).

Do we need a contract?

Call it an agreement. They are only required on GIGS booked more than 2 months in advance AND exceeding 500$. This is a simple one page document describing the arrangement between the hiring and the hired (fee, venue, date, time). It just clarifies the details of the arrangement...Nothing to fret about!

The agreement will be sent to you in the mail. You will receive and envelope containing 2 copies of the document; one for you, the other for us. Also included is a return envelope with postage paid. You simply sign both documents, return one in the provided envelope and keep the other for your records.

A deposit of 50% is required upon signing of an agreement, which can be paid by sending a cheque along with the return copy envelope.

Can we book a last minute GIG?

YES! - providing we are not already booked. If we are not available, we will recommend someone who is.
