Dani Star offers entertainment in 3 different varieties (for those who like variety..).

Events

Entertainment is available for all types of events:
Weddings, Festivals, Bars, Pubs, Clubs, Staff parties, Corporate parties, House parties, Birthdays, Anniversaries, even outdoor cottage parties
Anyplace where live music would serve to loosen people up and get the party rockin.
Equipment Rentals
Good news - When you purchase entertainment with Dani Star Music, ALL equipment rentals are included in the costs. So you don't have to worry about supplying any type of equipment for the band, or any other aspect relating to the music.
What am I really purchasing?
What you are purchasing is everything that needs to happen in order for the live music to take place successfully. This includes equipment set up, the soundcheck, the performance, tear down, and a chance to meet and greet with the musicians. You are not only purchasing live music. You are buying a service that includes equipment rentals, stage hands, equipment set up and tear down, and performances.
The venue
When entertainment hire is confirmed, contact will be arranged between the venue and the entertainment to ensure everything is in place for setup during the day.
The setup
Setup generaly takes place during the day, before any guests have arrived. You are assured that the setup or the soundcheck will not be happening while guests are in the room, as we feel this could cause a disturbance.
The performance
Performances can range from 30 minutes to 4 hours and beyond, depending on your needs.
Typically there are three formats available here.
option 1- the band will play 3 (45) minute sets of music with short 20 - 30 minute breaks in between. A CD player is provided to play music in between the band sets. You have the option of providing your own CD or not.
option 2- The band will play one long 2 hour show, similar to a concert.
option 3- A shorter performance; perhaps just one or a few songs for a special occasion (ex: wedding ceremony...)
The tear down
Tear down will begin immediately after the show is concluded, or after the last encore. For all in-town gigs, the band members will usually return home the same evening.
Out of town Gigs
Dani Star Music is based in Sudbury (ON, Canada). We do travel out of town to do shows. Additional charges apply to cover costs involved in transportation (ex:van rental, hotel room...)
Extras?
We will provide a microphone for guest speakers (like your drunk brother in law from out of town...)
We are open to special requests (like learning a specific song for an occasion..)
Of course we are willing to negotiate if special needs arise.
