On August 10th 2010, ATTIC JACK - a new band formed by Dani Star – will play for the 4000+ people expected to attend the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Ontario Summer Games.

The Band being all original material and songs will be releasing an album sometime before August of 2010 which they will be recording with Luc Sellen @ Cosmic Daves on Elgin Street (Sudbury, ON Canada).

Dani Star to write a Summer Games Theme Song:
Along with the BIG Summer Games Gig, Dani has also been approached by the City of Greater Sudbury and the organising Games Committee to write and record a games anthem for the 2010 Ontario Summer Games in which he has already gone beyond the request by writing 2 separate songs for the cause; the impactful “Torch of Inspiration” and a pop song “WE WILL RUN”.

What’s the Summer Games?
The Ontario Summer Games is a series of competitions running over 4 days and involves 3500 athletes aged 13 to 24 competing in various sport challenges. As the athletes are coming in from across the province, they bring family and friends, resulting in ALOT of ACTION and “BUZZ” in the city during the competition. It is the highest level of sport for young athletes in the province of Ontario, and the event is reputed for taking the host city by storm, filling up all hotels, venues and restaurants in the area to accomodate the thousands of people it draws.

The Opening Ceremonies will be held at Laurentian University Track (Sudbury, ON) on August 10th 2010 and will be a ticket sales event.
